Marine Food Chain

?????

This Week In Science #13

a) If we were to leave these spider habitat tanks sealed but removed all of the plants, what would happen? And why? Use these terms in your explanation: glucose, photosynthesis, energy, carbon  dioxide, oxygen.

If my group and I were to leave the spider habitat tanks sealed but removed all the plants I think it photosynthesis will startwith the glucose from the plant then the plant releases oxygen to the spider and the spider releasing carbon dioxide.

b) If we were to add five more spiders to your spider habitat tank, what would happen? And why? Use these terms in your explanation: glucose, photosynthesis, energy, carbon dioxide, oxygen.

If my group and I were to add five more spiders to the spider the habitat tank I think that the spiders will eat themselves until they have one more left or the might have babies.

c) If we were not to add fruit flies into your spider habitat tank, what would happen? And why? Use these terms in your explanation: glucose, photosynthesis, energy,  carbon dioxide, oxygen.

If my group were not to add fruit flies into the spider habitat tank the spider might die because it's not gonna have any food to eat.

This week in science # 12

Spider Observation Log
This week In science I did an observation log. In the observation  log we did background research on the cellar spders. Also we wrote inputs and outputsa of cellar spiders. A producer, consumer and decomposer game. In the producer, consumer and decomposer game we put the animals in order from producer -> primary  -> secondary -> tertiary. Also I did a practice regions packet. In the Practice regions packet we answered question that were on the regions. Most of the question were easy because in 8th grade I was in a regions class and we were taught these things to be prepared for high school.

I learned autotroph is self energy, Heterotroph is other energy, commensalism is one organism benefit but the other is not affected. Mutualism Both animals benefit from eachother. Parasites benefit at the expense of the other animal. Also I learned that cellar spider could eat other spiders. Another thing I learned about was energy pyramids, food chains and food webs.
